"Need to get away from work and hectic schedules? Pack up the car and head to our Lake St.Helen vacation home." Just five miles off I 75 in mid-Michigan, it's just what you need to chase the stress away.
Lake St. Helen is a well kept secret. It's an all sports lake great for swimming, water skiing, tubing, personal water crafts, fishing and much more. Bring your boat or rent a pontoon boat at the marina a few blocks away. The lake boasts a 75% uninhabited waters edge, of state land. This makes for colorful evenings as the sun sets across the lake. Sit by a campfire at the waters edge and take it all in as you listen to the fire crackle. Don't forget the marshmallows!
In the fall, come up for the beautiful color change. The drive is beautiful, not to mention all the color right across the lake. The smell of the leaves and crisp fall air will cure you of almost anything.
A favorite time is spring. The earth is bursting with new life and the animals are coming alive. There's always a fawn or two in the woods with mom and dad not too far away. You'll more than likely see them on a walk.
No matter the time of year or what the weather brings, there's plenty for the family to do. A game room in the basement has ping pong, pool and foos ball tables.
Sleeping space will never be a problem at this cottage. There's several
trundle beds and bunk beds; enough to house a large family or even two! Inquire about rates for more than 6 people.
"Choose your time of year and make your reservation. Once you've been to this "Norhern Getaway, you'll make it an annual vacation."
